Cabinets of Curiosities

Exploring the endless joyful colours and textures in nature. 'The Rosey Maple' collection was inspired by the Rosey Maple moth I had once discovered as a child in my garden, designed to bring happiness to those who wore it. Exploring the endless patterns and textures in moths and reflecting these onto the body. Discovering and appreciating the small things around us in nature we often ignore.
Pleating layers of pastel frilled tulle which lined structured panels, complimenting the rich and bright hued stretch satin, over exaggerated sleeves and feathered trim to create expressive and theatrical outfits full of character. The colour combination is electric and joyful.
